Nefesh B’Nefesh set up a large-screen TV in its Jerusalem offices for expatriate Americans to watch the Super Bowl.
The organization, which helps Americans immigrate to Israel, planned for Americans across Israel to tune in to the New York Giants’ upset victory over the previously undefeated New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII, scheduled for 1 a.m. Monday Israel time.
On Sunday, several Israeli restaurants, including a new American Hooters, also prepared Super Bowl parties.
For those unable to stay awake to watch the game live, it was scheduled to be rebroadcast on Fox on Monday at 7 p.m.
