Representatives of 15 Israeli startup companies will visit Silicon Valley.
The Israel Web Tour, scheduled for Feb. 4-7, is a conference and cultural exchange between Silicon Valley and Israeli entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. The Israeli startups selected to visit northern California were culled from 90 who applied to join the tour.
The tour is sponsored by the California Chamber of Commerce, a nongovernmental organization dedicated to strengthening business and trade relations between California and Israel.
Participating startups are 5min, Plymedia, AllofMe, Nuconomy, ClickTale, blogTV, Sportingo, PicScout, Qoof, 8hands, Velingo, Innovid and Semingo, PageOnce and Journeys. Sponsors include Google, Yahoo, Sun Microsystems, Microsoft and Lehman Brothers.
