The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) gunman was killed early Tuesday after he attacked troops searching a suburb of Nablus. There were no Israeli casualties.
Israeli security forces regularly target Nablus given its extensive terrorist infrastructure. While Israel’s restrictions on Palestinian movement elsewhere in the West Bank have largely been lifted in recent months, in Nablus they remain in force.
