Norway cut off ties with Hamas.
Norway was among the few Western nations to engage with the radical Islamist group after it entered a coalition government with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in March, a move that outraged Israel.

Norway also endorsed Abbas and the new P.A. government he established after dissolving the Hamas-led Cabinet.
