An Egyptian court
sentenced an Egyptian nuclear engineer to life in prison after
convicting him of spying for Israel.

Saber, 35, an employee with Egypt’s atomic agency, was charged with handing
over secret documents to the Mossad intelligence agency. Monday’s sentencing lasted less than five minutes, according to The Associated Press.
Saber claimed he
had given Israel outdated documents that posed no threat to Egyptian security. Israel
dismissed the charges that Saber was working for the Mossad.
