A Reform Zionist association called for a coordinated strategy to counter the Iranian threat to Israel and the Jewish people. “We must do what we can to understand both the gravity and urgency of this issue and call upon our congregations and our membership to engage in a coordinated strategy,” said Rabbi Andrew Davids, executive director of the Association of Reform Zionists of America.Davids’ comments came after a full-day discussion on the Iran issue organized by the ARZA Tuesday in Washington. The event included presentations from experts on the Middle East. A recurring theme was the need for international diplomatic measures, including the possibility of military action, according to a press release.
