Israel has started an initiative to provide medical care and financial aid to poor populations in the remote parts Vietnam.Israel sent 54 doctors and nurses to volunteer at Vietnamese clinics run by an Israel doctor, according to a report on ChinaDaily.com. The volunteers treated 2,500 Vietnamese children, most of whom had never before seen a doctor. The week-long mission cost $50,000.
