A group of 15 Japanese tourists ended up in the West Bank because of a pronunciation mishap. The tourists went to Jerusalem’s bus station this week intending to travel to the northern city of Afula, Yediot Achronot reported Monday. But the ticket seller misheard the name of the town and instead sent the group to Ofra, a settlement deep in the West Bank. The group ended up spending the night and set off for Afula the next day.
