The windows of a 16th-century synagogue in southern Poland were smashed, a Jewish group reported. Police are investigating the incident.Damage to the synagogue in Rymanow in the Easter Sunday desecration in early April was estimated at $2,000, the Foundation for the Preservation for Jewish Heritage in Poland announced.The attack comes ahead of the anniversary of the death of Rabbi Menachem Mendel (1755-1815) of Rymanow, which is expected to bring some 300 Chasidim to the town May 6-7.
