The American Jewish Committee
and the Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities signed an association agreement in Geneva.

“We appreciate the national and
international reach of the organization,” Federation President Alfred
Donath said Thursday. “We admire the great work of its
Geneva-based affiliate, UN Watch. AJC is an effective
bridge-building agency whose intra-Jewish and interreligious work has
particular meaning and applicability for us.”

AJCommittee in Europe is involved in
strengthening relations between Jews and other religious groups, combating
anti-Semitism and fostering an understanding of Israel’s security needs. AJCommittee leaders frequently meet with
top-level European political leaders concerning Jewish issues.
