Hamas gunmen wounded an Israeli outside Gaza. The middle-aged
electrical technician was moderately wounded Monday after being shot as
he worked at the Karni Crossing on the Gaza Strip border. Hamas’ military
wing claimed responsibility for the shooting, the first such act of
violence since the governing Palestinian Authority faction entered a
coalition with the more moderate Fatah over the weekend.In another Palestinian attack, at least three rockets were fired from Gaza into
Israel, causing no casualties.
