Israeli commandos killed a Palestinian terrorist who was wanted for plotting a foiled suicide bombing in Tel Aviv. Undercover troops shot dead the head of Islamic Jihad in Jenin early Wednesday. Military sources said the suspect, Mahmoud Abu Abait, pulled a gun as the Israeli forces closed in to arrest him in the center of the West Bank town. Abait was suspected of dispatching a Palestinian to blow himself up in Tel Aviv. The Shin Bet said it captured the would-be suicide bomber in a suburb of the city on Tuesday night and safely disposed of his explosives.
