A Swedish tourist committed suicide after trying to kill his son at Ben Gurion Airport. Witnesses said the 40-year-old man, a Catholic who had just completed a Holy Land pilgrimage with his son, arrived at the Tel Aviv-area airport early Monday but missed the flight to Stockholm. The man was then spotted throwing the boy from a raised platform onto the tracks at the airport’s train station and jumping after him to his death. The boy suffered serious injuries. Police sources said the Swede may have suffered from temporary insanity.
