Ehud Olmert will travel to Turkey to discuss peace moves in the region. The Israeli prime minister will meet Wednesday with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, his Turkish counterpart, and discuss a forthcoming summit involving Israel, the Palestinians and the United States aimed at reviving peace talks, as well as peace overtures from Syria. Turkey has been encouraging Syria to reach out to the West and move away from its alliance with Iran.
