Beth Tauro is the business community liaison for the Transitions to Work program at Combined Jewish Philanthropies where she oversees business development and marketing aimed at engaging corporate partners to support the Transitions program. Her approach focuses on helping employers realize that young adults with disabilities are qualified, committed candidates for the appropriate jobs. She works to create jobs that enable individuals with varied abilities to become valued and dedicated employees.
Previous employment includes business development manager at Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge (now Edwards Wildman), associate general counsel at Arthur D. Little, Inc. and corporate law associate at Hale & Dorr (now Wilmer Hale). She has served on the board of directors and executive committee of Special Olympics of Massachusetts and is a current board member of Caring Partners. Beth has held numerous leadership volunteer positions including with Brown University, the Winsor School and Belmont Day School. Beth is a graduate of Brown University and Cornell Law School.
