The following positions are available:
The arts and culture intern will help create our new website, jwcalendar.com. This will involve working with the web and calendar editors to shape and test the new site. The intern will also develop and write content for the calendar in the form of event listings, performance reviews and cultural commentary. In addition, the intern will be part of the social media effort to announce and promote the new site. The candidate should have strong writing skills and an interest in Jewish arts, culture and community. In your cover letter, include a few thoughts about how you’d contribute to this new website.

The candidate should be enthusiastic about Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest; knowledgeable about SEO; and eager to learn more about these technologies and others as the world of social media changes. Additionally, the candidate should have strong reporting and writing skills and should be accustomed to working on deadline and producing web content daily. Knowledge of the American Jewish community is a plus. In your cover letter, include a few thoughts about how you’d shape our social media strategy and contribute to our editorial team.
