Thank you to Gary Rosenblatt for having the courage to write about the Muslim Leadership Initiative (“Where Muslims, Jews Clash — And Hug,” Nov. 20) that helps bridge the gap between Muslims and Jews. Like the Muslim participants who received criticism from their own community, Rosenblatt risked members of our Jewish community lashing out at him for “engaging with the enemy.”
I am grateful that Rosenblatt wrote about this important initiative and the benefits it brings to all parties. We will only make progress when reasonable people from both sides engage in meaningful dialogue. Thank you for taking a stance.
