For more than four decades, DOROT has recruited volunteers of diverse ages to connect with isolated, homebound, and homeless seniors. With these compassionate volunteers and an experienced and caring staff, DOROT alleviates social isolation and provides services that enable seniors to remain in their homes wth safety and independence. Our skilled social work staff provided information and referral services, connecting older adults and their family caregivers to critical services within and outside of DOROT. Our volunteers visit older adults in their homes, engage with them onsite at DOROT, and help them remain a part of their community.
