JERUSALEM (JTA) — An Israeli man was wounded in a stabbing attack Tuesday afternoon in the West Bank near Jerusalem.
The victim was wounded in the head and was conscious after the attack, according to Haaretz reported.
Israeli security forces are searching for the assailant, who fled after the attack, according to Border Police.
Also Tuesday, the Palestinian teenager who injured four police officers in a stabbing attack Thursday at a police station in eastern Jerusalem has died after being shot by officers shot during the attack. He had been taken to the same Jerusalem hospital as the officers he stabbed.
He was identified by the Palestinian WAFA news agency as Abdel Rahman Abu Jamal, 17, from the village of Jabal al-Mukaber, southeast of Jerusalem.
