Based on the comments online appearing after your article on African American reparations, you should consider not making this a Jewish issue (“Jews Cautious On Reparations For Blacks,” June 28).
Instead, maybe focus on the real issue of how and what type of reparations might be implemented. An example of what could easily benefit the black community is extending the benefit that Native Americans have by being exempt from paying federal income tax. This would immediately have a great economic benefit to all African Americans.
