Did you miss out on “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s” collaboration with Carnegie Deli earlier this year? If you were not able to make it to the December pop-up or to the May food truck, you can now enjoy a delicious pastrami sandwich from the comfort of your own home. For this week only, Amazon Prime’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” has teamed up with Postmates to provide free 1950s-themed meal packs to those living in New York City and Los Angeles.
Through Friday, June 21st, you can order a meal pack on the Postmates app or website from noon until 9:30 p.m. each day. But hurry, because the packs are going fast!
Each meal pack, which is delivered in a quaint pink lunch box, is complete with a pastrami sandwich on rye, a pickle, a black-and-white cookie, a container of Abe Weissman’s famous tomato juice, and a special treat: a mini version of Susie Myerson’s much-loved plunger (this one can prop up your phone rather than unclog your toilet). And best of all? You can enjoy your meal while watching Seasons 1 and 2 of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”
For passionate “Maisel” fans who are eagerly awaiting the release of Season 3 later this year, this meal is just a little something to tie you over while you contemplate Midge’s vast future.
