JERUSALEM (JTA) — The Israeli cloud migration start up company Velostrata will be acquired by Google.
Company CEO and co-founder Issy Ben-Shaul announced on Wednesday that Velostrata would join Google Cloud, subject to closing conditions.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed by either company. Velostrata was founded in 2014.
Velostrata’s software enables companies to qickly and easily move their data and applications from onsite computers to the to Internet storage, and with minimal downtime. The company’s technology is used by companies in the healthcare, finance, energy and public sectors, the company said in a statement.
The company will work out of Google’s Tel Aviv offices, Eyal Manor, Google Cloud’s Vice President of Engineering, said in a statement.
