As a young child, Yaakov Guttman struggled with significant learning disabilities and ADHD. Then, when he was 10, his father suddenly and tragically passed away, turning this young boy’s life upside down. In 5th Grade, Yaakov came to SINAI Schools, a lost, angry boy who still couldn’t read.
Today, Yaakov serves as an example to us all that when a child is given the right tools, he or she can accomplish anything. SINAI’s latest short documentary, Walking Through Fire, tells the remarkable story of Yaakov’s journey, and will premiere at the SINAI Schools dinner on February 25.
