Regarding Ellie Cohanim’s Opinion piece, “Why Sephardim And Ashkenazim Clash Over Trump,” March 3:
American Jews rarely if ever identify themselves as being Sephardic or Ashkenazic. America has a population of 350 million people spread across 3000-plus miles. Terrorists are always a danger wherever they exist, but radical Islam poses no existential threat to the U.S. A more important concern for American Jewry is the upsurge in anti-Semitic acts directed at JCCs and Jewish schools coinciding with the election of Donald Trump.
