With regard to Mr. Kushner’s Orthodoxy, I really couldn’t care less if he drove on Shabbat or what else he did that is not kosher (“Jared Kushner, Under The Microscope,” Feb. 3). My problem with him is his skewed moral compass.
How can you go to the synagogue and pray to the Almighty, and then sit in the same room with the alt-right’s Steve Bannon? How can he remain silent when the White House releases a statement on the Holocaust devoid of any mention of the slaughter of Jews?
Read the prophet Jeremiah, who railed against people who publicly cleansed their conscience over their sins by offering the required sacrifices.
