(JTA) — A teenage boy hurled a rock into the car of an Orthodox Jewish woman in Brooklyn, shattering the back window and covering her 6-year-old child in glass.
The teen, who was not identified, and a companion had shouted anti-Semitic remarks at the woman in the car before he threw the rock and they fled the scene, the New York Daily News reported.
The New York Police Department’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.
