(JTA) — Zionist Union leader Isaac Herzog reportedly is under investigation for campaign funding irregularities.

Herzog is the second of two senior Israeli politicians under investigation for wrongdoing.

The news about Herzog came Wednesday just hours after Interior Minister Aryeh Deri of Shas revealed that he is the target of an investigation.

On Tuesday, Israeli outlets reported that two high-level corruption investigations are in process, but provided no details on which politicians were being investigated or for what.

According to the Times of Israel, Herzog is being investigated for funding issues during the 2013 primary elections.

In a statement reported by the Times of Israel, Herzog said he would “cooperate fully” so that “the issue is clarified as soon as possible.”

“I’m sure the examination will refute these delusional claims once and for all,” he said.
