(JTA) — The U.N. Human Rights Council will vote on a resolution calling for the creation of a database of businesses operating in the West Bank, Golan Heights and eastern Jerusalem.

The resolution, which is scheduled for a vote Thursday, requests the United Nations’ top human rights official to produce a database of “all business enterprises” that have enabled or profited from the growth of Israeli settlements, Haaretz reported.

According to the Israeli newspaper, Israel and the United States are trying to block the resolution by the Geneva-based council.

The resolution is one of five concerning Israel up for a vote this week, according to UN Watch, a watchdog group also based in the Swiss city.
