(JTA) — A Palestinian drove his car into four Israeli soldiers in the West Bank after their jeep was hit with a barrage of rocks.
One of the victims in the Wednesday night attack on Route 60, near Gush Etzion, was seriously wounded and taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem for treatment, the Times of Israel reported. The others were lightly wounded.
The soldiers had exited the vehicle after it was struck by rocks.
The Palestinian driver was shot while carrying out the attack and taken to a Jerusalem hospital for treatment.
In a separate incident Wednesday, a rocket fired from Gaza landed in an open field in southern Israel. No damage or injuries were reported.
