JERUSALEM (JTA) — An Israeli man was stabbed in the back and seriously wounded near the West Bank city of Hebron.
Israeli security services are searching for the suspected attacker, identified by Israel’s Channel 2 as a Palestinian resident of the city. He fled the scene following Wednesday afternoon’s stabbing at the entrance to Kiryat Arba, a Jewish settlement adjacent to Hebron. The victim, 25, is a resident of Kiryat Arba.
The attack occurred minutes after a stabbing in Tel Aviv that injured five and hours after a stabbing attack in Jerusalem that seriously injured a yeshiva student.
