Dan Snyder, owner of the Washington Redskins, has vowed he’ll never change his team’s controversial name, despite complaints from the likes of President Obama. Now he has a new supporter, in the form of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
Before last night’s game against Washington, Jones made this statement: “It would be a real mistake — a real mistake — to think Dan, who is Jewish, has a lack of sensitivity regarding anybody’s feelings. I promise you that.”
Nice pulling the Jewish card, but we’re not sure we’re convinced.
