(JTA) — A high school student was arrested for making a bomb threat on Facebook against his suburban New York Orthodox yeshiva.

The 16-year-old, a student at the Mesivta Ateres Yaakov School in Lawrence on Long Island, was arrested at the all-boys school on Tuesday. He was charged with making a terrorist threat, a felony, and aggravated harassment, a misdemeanor, the New York Post reported.

His threats were not delineated in the newspaper or other reports.

The school, in the heavily Jewish Five Towns area of Long Island, was evacuated for two hours on Tuesday after the threat was identified.

Mesivta Ateres Yaakov does not plan to press charges, assistant principal Rabbi Yossi Bennett told the Post.

The threat came a day after two bombs exploded at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three and injuring nearly 200.
