JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israel’s Keshet Media group sold six television show formats to a Chinese production company, including the popular satire
China’s Shixi Media company closed the deals with Keshet this week at the Cannes MIPTV festival, Variety reported.
Along with "It’s A Wonderful Country," or "Eretz Nehederet," show formats purchased by Shixi include the children’s music talent show "Master Class"; "Girlfriends," a dating reality show; the "Big Ten" entertainment show; "50 Things You Have to Know," a game show; and the docu-reality show "Remember Me."
Keshet, an Israel Channel 2 franchise, is the home of the Israeli drama "Prisoners of War," upon which the award-winning U.S. drama "Homeland" is based.
