Everyone is loving Babs these days.
Only a few weeks after she was tapped to perform at this year’s Oscars for the first time in 36 years, Barbra Streisand is set to perform at Israeli President Shimon Peres’ 90th birthday celebration, the Times of Israel reports.
Streisand will be the opening act at Shimon Peres’s annual Presidential Conference, which is honoring his 90th birthday this year. The vent attracts some 4,500 attendees each year, including former Israeli heads of state, academics, and scientists.
Streisand’s performance, set for June 18, will be the first official performance of the Jewish musician, although she has visited Israel several times in the past.
