Drake released a second single from his upcoming album, “Nothing Was the Same,” and the new song, “5AM in Toronto,” is full of bragging and angry words about staying up late.
Drake’s producer, Noah Shebib, tweeted a link to the song early this morning, which Drizzy retweeted, before noting the song was produced by hip-hop Canadian Matthew Jehu Samuels (Boi-1da).
The new song comes with some angry and boasting lyrics, like “they need me more than they hate me,” as well as “I made Forbes list, n***a / f**k your list, everything’s lookin’ gorgeous.”
Drake also seems to alludes to his beef with Chris Brown with the line, “bad press over the summer because of allegations.”
Bottom line: Drake is angry, and when he gets angry, his music is good.
