Sony Pictures Classics released the first image of Woody Allen’s upcoming film, “Blue Jasmine.”
As the 46th movie from the Jewish writer/director, the film is apparently a romantic comedy about “ the final stages of an acute crisis and a life of a fashionable New York housewife.”
We don’t know much else about the film, since its Woody Allen we’re talking about here, but the photo gives us a look at Cate Blanchette, who plays the lead character, as well as Sally Hawkins creepily lurking in the background. Alec Baldwin, Louis C.K., Bobby Cannavale, Andrew Dice Clay, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Peter Sarsgaard are also starring in the film.
Blue Jasmine hits theaters this July.
