The antics of Ari Gold lives on.
Warner Brothers studios has finally okay-ed a movie adaption of the HBO hit show “Entourage,” Deadline confirms.
The movie will be directed by original screenwriter Doug Ellin, who was the executive producer of the show alongside Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson. The show is still working out deals with the original cast: Adrien Grenier, who plays Chase, Kevin Dillon, who plays Johnny Drama, Kevin Connolly who played Eric Murphy, Jerry Ferrara, who plays turtle.. and our favorite, Jeremy Piven who plays Ari Gold.
The show’s run from 2004-2011 last ended with Ari finally ditching his career in Hollywood for his incredibly good-looking wife, only to receive a phone call with an offer of a dream job running a film studio– a decision he knows could ruin his marriage.
We’ll have to wait patiently for this Entourage film to find out if Ari did indeed became the perfect Jewish husband…
