Benjamin Millipied, husband to Natalie Portman and papa to baby Aleph, has been appointed as the new director of the Paris Opera Ballet, the New York Times reports, and he’s taking his family with him!
Millipied was the mastermind choreographer behind Portman’s hit film “Black Swan,” and won the heart of our the Jewish actress during the film’s conception. He’s a formal principal dancer of the New York City Ballet, which he left in 2011 to create his L.A. Dance Project.
Portman and co are set to leave for Paris late next year, when Millipied starts at the Paris company in September 2014.
