Like him or not, Andy Samberg is back. At some point.
The Jewish comedian/musician who left SNL last year is planning to return to television soon.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Fox ordered an untitled pilot, about “a diverse group of detectives at a New York precinct.” The project will be executive produced by Dan Goor and Mike Schur of “Parks and Recreation.”
This will be Samberg’s second television project since his departure from SNL. Last summer Samberg starred in the successful British comedy “Cuckoo,” as a hippy American who marries a British woman.
