Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made all of Israel proud when he spoke to the United Nations about the danger of Iran. This little country of Israel stood before the entire world as Moses did before Pharaoh. Moses spoke the truth, and Israel spoke the truth. The world sat, did nothing and will do nothing to save itself from being dominated by Iran. Commentators could talk only about the gifts he gave President Barack Obama in holding up any action till after the November election. The prime minister evidently has listened very carefully to those like President Shimon Peres who says that Israel cannot do anything without United States approval. Is there anyone else in the entire Israeli leadership except for Netanyahu who is fit to be a prime minister in these perilous days? Is there anyone else who can point out what the world needs to hear? We must thank G-d that Netanyahu, who has made mistakes as all human beings do, has found the moral stature to confront the world as a Jew knowing Jewish history, fearing G-d and bearing the responsibility for the Jewish people and its destiny. He has made the world at least stop and think about what will happen to each nation in an Iran-dominated world.
