Actress Isla Fisher (“Confessions of a Shopaholic”) sat down with Conan O’Brien to talk about her new movie “Bachelorette,” and in addition, shared her experience being married to Sacha Baron Cohen.
Fisher, who converted to Judaism in order to marry Baron Cohen, said that it can be really embarrassing to be out in public with him.
According to FIsher, when they first came to Hollywood they were invited to a premiere by Jack Black. The event began with an older lady giving a long speech, followed by Black giving a short speech.
After the film, Black said, “If I knew the movie was so great I would have made a longer speech.” To which Baron Cohen replied: “Yeah, like the woman who wouldn’t shut up with the massive boobs.” And then Jack Black came back with: “That was my mom…”
Fisher ended with the sad realization, confirmed by Conan, that Baron Cohen will “finish her in Hollywood.”
I see a potential for an embarrassing Sacha Baron Cohen reality TV show here…
