(JTA) — A 71-year-old former Jewish day school teacher from Toronto was charged with indecent assault for allegedly sexually assaulting a student 40 years ago.
Heshi Nussbaum appeared in court on Aug. 29 to face the charge, the Toronto Sun reported.
Nussbaum allegedly sexually assaulted a 12-year-old boy at a "private religious school" that he taught at and during a summer camp between 1972 and 1975, according to Toronto Police.
There also may be more victims, according to a statement issued by the Toronto Police last Friday.
