Ashley Biden, the vice president’s daughter, married Howard Krein in Wilmington in an interfaith ceremony.

There was a rabbi and a priest, but a White House-released photo gives us a hint of the culture of interfaith: Joe Biden dancing with Ashley in a hora.

DCist wants to know if they went a little further into Jewy territory:

Unfortunately, there is no word on whether another essential element of the traditional dance was performed—during the Horah, it is also customary for the guests of honor (usually the bride, the groom and their parents) to sit in chairs and be raised up by the other revelers. Considering that the vice president of the United States would be among those honorees, we’re curious to know if the chair-raising might have been nixed by the Secret Service.
