Still can’t get over the whole Jonah Hill Oscar nomination? Neither can we. And neither can Jonah, apparently.
Less than 24 hours after he was nominated for the best supporting actor award for his role in “Moneyball,” Hill told Access Hollywood: “I was watching it on TV and I feel like I’m in a dream still … I didn’t sleep all night and then I watched it on TV.” Hill also said that he is “really overwhelmed, can’t believe this is my life right now.”
Hill also talked about switching from funny roles to dramatic ones, naming Tom Hanks and Robin Williams as two of the select few who successfully transition between drama and comedy. Hill said that getting the nod from the academy “encourages to be in more dramatic roles, despite people do’t really want to see that transition.”
And the most important thing, Hill and Brad Pitt congratulated each other about the nominations (Pitt is nominated for the lead role for “Moneyball”). Also, it seems like Jonah gained a little weight since the last time we saw him. Will Brad be down with that? There are exactly 32 days until the Oscars, Brad should get him a smaller tux and then force him to lose weight and wear it.
