Ben Stiller recently announced that he will be building eight schools in Haiti with the money raised by his charity, The Stiller Foundation. After the earthquake in 2010, the comedian started his organization to help raise money to rebuild Haiti. Stiller announced that he signed an agreement with the Digicel Foundation to build the schools, after he visited the impoverished country this weekend.
With all of my impossible-to-contain sarcasm aside, this is a great use of celebrity. We should all build centers For Kids Who Can’t Read Good And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too in Haiti. (Sorry, couldn’t help myself!)
