Sarah Silverman and Jeff Goldblum have just signed on to guest star on the Thanksgiving episode of the FX comedy series, The League.
The League is about a group of oddballs who are in a fantasy football league together. But do not fret if you don’t care for fantasy football (or the real kind). The website reassuringly states, “To be a fan of The League on FX, you don’t need to know much about fantasy football, or sports at all. You just need to have friends that you hate.” Done and done.
“Sarah and Jeff are funny and fearless enough to play Andre’s sister and Ruxin’s father,” said League co-creators Jeff Schaffer and Jackie Marcus Schaffer. “And they didn’t flinch when we told them all of the crazy things they’d be doing with our cast. Fools!” [EW]
