While most of the press attention has been lavished on Chaz Bono, last night on the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars, David Arquette also performed. He waltzed with partner Kym Johnson to a bastardized version of Queen’s Somebody to Love.
Interesting music choice aside, Arquette seemed to be pleased with his performance and dancing in general. “It’s like having an amusement park in your heart,” he said.
Also very happy with his dance was estranged wife and primetime Cougar, Courteney Cox, who watched from the audience with their daughter, Coco.
“I thought David did such an amazing job,” Cox told Us Weekly after the show.
And the judges gave the Arquette and his partner the score of “18,” a middling number for the competition but perhaps it portends good things for the Jewish Arquette.
