Nirvana and Stewart

It’s been 20 years since Nirvana came out with “Nevermind,” one of the music albums that defined the grunge generation of the early 1990s.

To commemorate the event, SiriusXM radio is bringing the person who defines this generation, Jon Stewart, to hold a “town hall meeting” Q&A session on September 23rd with the surviving remains of Nirvana –  Krist Novoselic and the Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl.

Why Stewart? No particular reason, but definitely shows how we all have changed since 1991.

“Nevermind” sold 10 million copies in the US upon it’s releasing, and included the ever-memorable songs “Come as You Are,” “Polly,” and handbanger’s galore “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”
