To the Editor:
Turkey’s goverment demands that Israel apologize for killing nine armed activists on a flotilla who were trying to kill Israeli forces upholding a blockade of Gaza and to end the blockade of Gaza. Gaza is ruled by the terrorist Hamas, which has fired thousands of rockets at civilians in southern Israel trying to harm Israeli civilians randomly.
In response, we need to publicly review the Turkish role in the Armenian genocide and publicly ask Turkey why Israel should not defend itself from those that openly want to destroy Israel. Turkey should be asked why it is different than the Turkish treatment of Kurds.
