To the Editor:
What exactly is "Jewish" about the negative response to Glenn Beck? I understand why liberals/progressives are so opposed to what Beck stands for, but what in Jewish tradition calls forth such a negative response to someone who is clearly an ohev Yisrael, a lover of Israel.
I learned a long time ago in rabbinical school that Judaism is much too nuanced to be identified with any specific school of politics. It’s a shame that so many have come to equate it with the politics of the left.
